A couple months ago, I was thinking about our marketing plan and our website. It had been quite some time since I’d visited it, and if we’d gotten a handful of leads from it I’d be surprised. I took one look and almost had a heart attack. The content was stale, the pictures were old, and the only thing being updated was the calendar of events. Feeling mortified and embarrassed (an understatement) and I really ought to know better, a 911 call was made to a marketing firm “Help! My website sucks.”
I suspect that I’m not the only one who got a website and marketing collateral when we started out and then abdicated it (as opposed to delegating it) to someone else.
